The purpose of our children’s ministry is to glorify God by encouraging and supporting parents in their responsibility to teach and model Christian living, providing regular opportunities for our children to know Christ in a personal way and to grow in their relationship with Him, encouraging, supporting and training teachers to minister to families and children, and developing a community that allows worship, learning and serving in an exciting atmosphere.
Through complete reliance upon the Lord through prayer, we want to nurture kingdom disciples who have an understanding of the entire Word of God, participate in worship and fellowship, and reach out to others.
Our worship services are for the entire family. The sounds of children in the church are the sounds of young people learning about God and how to worship Him.
For the youngest (or the wiggliest) little ones, we also have a safe and nurturing Nursery (ages 0-3) and Kid’s Worship (ages 4 through 2nd grade during the 11:00 sermon).
For those with special needs, we have a Sensory Room and Buddies provided by our Through the Roof ministry.
We have a safe and nurturing environment for all of our worship services and Sunday School. You child(ren) will play and enjoy a lesson and a snack.
Children’s Sunday School starts at 9:50 AM, giving parents time to drop their kids off and attend an adult class at 10:00 AM.
Children learn that it is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. Sunday School is a chronological journey through scripture from Genesis to Revelation, and includes time for all classes to gather for music and worship.
While we love and value having kids together with everyone during the entire worship service, during the sermon at the 11:00 service, you are welcome to take your child(ren) to Room 15 where they will spend time learning how we worship through age-appropriate lessons and activities. They will be escorted back to the sanctuary after the sermon.
We have worship bulletins for ages 3-6 and 7-12. Your child(ren) can pick one up along with a packet of crayons near the Welcome Table at the main entrance.
We have seasonal vocal and bell choirs for children and youth. Meeting times and presentation dates are announced periodically.
