1. Jeremiah 29:1-7

In keeping with our prayers for our community this month, we discussed the passage of God’s message to the exiles in Babylon. We should always be praying for and seeking the welfare of the community that God has placed us in. We need to be praying fervently for Midlothian and that we, as God’s church, make a difference in the life of this community. It is important to note that, even in times of unsettlement, God tells us to trust Him and keep living productive lives. As we enter a time of change at Sycamore, this message is a good reminder that we can continue to worship and live out the gospel as we always have, trusting in the God who tells us to pray to Him and stay productive despite our changing circumstances.
