1 Corinthians 1:8-11

If we are overwhelmed by our life circumstances, much like what Paul and his team experienced in Asia, our hope and strength is in God and we are encouraged by one another and our prayers for one another. Paul was constantly asking for prayer because he understood the effectual nature of prayer and the power in prayer- he reminded the church of Corinth that they were praying to the God who raises the dead! We must be in constant prayer for our congregation even when we don’t fully know what everyone’s struggles are and what we may be experiencing through this transition phase in the life of our church.
