Acts 4:23-31

Continuing with the theme of the first century Church, this passage is another beautiful picture of the faith and trust the early Christians had in God to take care of them and accomplish His purposes despite those who tried to oppose them. It is inspiring to see these early Christians rely on Scripture and prayer, much like we do today, to encourage them and embolden them in the work of our God. Let us remember that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. If we go to Him in prayer asking that He fills us with His Holy Spirit to act in wisdom and in boldness, as we pursue the task of finding a new senior pastor, He will surely deliver.
