1 Chronicles 29:10-18
Just like in the days of David, God tests our hearts and has pleasure in uprightness. We pray like David that God keep forever such purposes and thoughts in our hearts- obedience and love for Him, acknowledging His greatness and dominion over all things. As a committee we have been continuously praying for God’s hand to be upon us- because in His hand are power and might, and it is as his discretion that people are given strength. We, like David, acknowledge “Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.” (verse 11)
