Our Kids Ministry seeks to be a nurturing environment where your children can learn about God.

Every Sunday, we provide Sunday School for all ages, nursery care for infants and toddlers (0–3), and Kids Worship designed just for young hearts and minds. Through engaging lessons, music, and activities, we help kids grow in their faith and friendships.

Our worship services are for the entire family. The sounds of kids in the church are the sounds of young people learning about God and how to worship Him.

For the youngest (or the wiggliest) little ones, we also have a safe and nurturing Nursery (ages 0-3) and Kid’s Worship (ages 4 through 2nd grade during the 11:00 sermon).

We have a safe and nurturing environment for our 11am worship service and Sunday School where they will play and enjoy a lesson and a snack. 

Kid’s Sunday School starts at 9:45 AM, giving parents time to drop their kids off and attend an adult class at 10:00 AM.

Kids learn that it is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. Sunday School is a chronological journey through scripture from Genesis to Revelation, and includes time for all classes to gather for music and worship.

 

While we love and value having kids together with everyone during the entire worship service, during the sermon at the 11:00 service, you are welcome to take them to our Kid’s Worship room where they will spend time learning how we worship through age-appropriate lessons and activities. They will be escorted back to the sanctuary after the sermon.

We have worship bulletins for ages 3-6 and 7-12. Your can pick one up along with a packet of crayons near the Welcome Table at the main entrance.

Our Playground

Sycamore Community Park is a playground behind Sycamore Presbyterian Church. It was built to serve the families and community of Midlothian. The park is open to the public except when reserved for church events.
