Knitting His Love

"...that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ." - Colossians 2:2

Knitting His Love

Our mission is to glorify God by sharing our gifts and talents through prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and instruction and by giving away the fruits of this labor to the many groups of people connected with Sycamore.

Who are you knitting for?
What kinds of things do you make?

We make scarves, hats, mittens, baby items, sweaters, blankets, rugs, and much more! Many of the things we make are necessities for those in need, and some are special gifts for ESL and newborns.

Can I join you?

Yes! Everyone from beginners to experts is welcome. Please come and join us!

The needs are plentiful and all hands are welcomed whether those of a professional or novice knitter or crocheter.

If you would prefer to knit from home, patterns and supplies can be shared.

When do you meet?

Thursdays:

  • 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM – ESL knitters
  • 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – All knitters
I don't know how to knit. Will you teach me?

We would love to teach you. Basic patterns are very easy and can be learned in a day and a few hours of practice.

Can I participate from home?

Yes. If you would prefer to knit from home, patterns and supplies can be shared. You can still contribute without coming on Thursdays.
