Hi, I’m Abby!
I’m so excited to be part of the Sycamore family! I was born into a military family, but we planted our roots in Fairfax, VA, where I grew up—a true Virginian (if that counts, right?).

I graduated from James Madison University in 2017 with a degree in Political Science, and it was at JMU where I met my wonderful husband, Patrick. We’ve moved around the state a few times before settling here in Midlothian. We’re blessed with two dogs, and our sweet daughter, Isla May, was born in May of 2024.

My professional journey has been diverse: I’ve worked as the Social Media Director for a pro-life nonprofit in Washington D.C., coordinated major events at JMU, and spent three years in real estate. Now, I’m thrilled to be back in the creative space as Sycamore’s Communications Lead.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me cooking, baking, or cross-stitching. I also love walking with Patrick, Isla, and our dogs. I’m a big fan of podcasts, and while I may not drink caffeine, I’ll never say no to a cup of decaf coffee (though I’m not sure that really counts as coffee). I’m also an avid Lord of the Rings fan—always up for a re-watch or re-read!
